The objective of “Social Marketing” is that sellers and insurance companies must define the needs, demands, and benefits of the target market, and thus provide a superior service to their customers in a way that increase the welfare of customers and as the consequence the society.
As a matter of fact, the aim of this approach is that whether a company, which understands and supplies the demands (not needs) of individuals, always consider the best for its customers and hence the society in the long-run or not?
The “Social Marketing” approach is to be beside insurer, giving consultation to him, having a friendship connection, and finally considering the long-term welfare of them. Not only customers, but also companies, representatives, and society get welfare from the “Social Marketing.”
If we see the insurance marketing in the way that by selling each policy we can contribute a share in prevention of family separations, specific share in continuity and sustainability of the families which have lost their protector, a share in education costs and calmness of a kid who will seek a need tomorrow and the society will not pay the anomalies of him.
“Social Marketing,” as the best approach of marketing philosophy, has so much depth that cannot be explained in a few sentences. However, insurance industry of our country has used this approach to overcome all crises. In addition to insurance companies, sales network has also used these approaches and been educated by the methods to obtain the acme of this market.
